Catherine Dunne

Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist Catherine Dunne completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at The University of Queensland in 2022. During the first months of her graduate year, she gained experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through university placements and part-time work at a clinic just north of Brisbane. Before studying physiotherapy, she hadn’t received treatment herself, but she witnessed its positive effects on close friends and family during difficult times.

This first hand exposure to physiotherapy confirmed her passion for helping others manage pain and improve mobility. She finds many aspects of physiotherapy fascinating, though she has a special interest in shoulder treatment, despite its complexity.

Using a combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise, Catherine eagerly supports her patients in reaching their goals. Furthermore, as a dedicated Brisbane Broncos fan, she is always ready to chat about the footy. Outside the clinic, she spends time with friends and family, stays active at the gym or outdoors, and enjoys watching football.

Additional Training:

  • Level 1 Reformer and Matwork Pilates Course
  • Level 1 & 2 Neuromuscular Dry Needling
  • The Lower Limb Conference
